Jamie Wells is a Practice Group Leader for the Litigation Group at Scale LLP with over a decade of experience representing a broad range of clients—including financial institutions, fintech companies, startups, and other businesses—in high-stakes litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters nationwide. Her practice encompasses complex commercial litigation, class actions, and internal investigations, with subject-matter experience spanning fraud, breach of contract, unfair business practices, credit reporting, fair lending, consumer protection statutes, intellectual property infringement, trademark disputes, and unfair competition claims.
Jamie has conducted internal investigations for Fortune 500 companies involving allegations of fraud and regularly defends businesses in fraud-related litigation. She also advises clients on due diligence and regulatory compliance, including true lender issues, wiretapping laws, and other federal and state regulatory matters.
Known for her strategic, business-oriented approach and responsiveness, Jamie is actively involved at every stage of litigation—from pre-litigation counseling through discovery, dispositive motions, arbitration, and trial. Before joining Scale, she was a litigation partner at an AmLaw 50 firm, where she led the national fintech litigation practice.
