Aaron Swerdlow is a dedicated and strategic legal advisor to emerging technology companies, private equity firms, consumer brands, and entertainment clients. He specializes in a broad range of corporate legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, employment law, and complex transactions. His practice encompasses structuring and negotiating private equity deals, corporate governance, licensing agreements, and asset sales. Additionally, he provides counsel on joint ventures, financing, employment contracts, marketing arrangements, and third-party service agreements.

With extensive experience in high-stakes negotiations, intellectual property matters, and international transactions, Aaron has represented top executives and coaches in negotiations with nearly every NBA franchise. He has also worked across the table from major media and private equity firms, facilitated multimillion-dollar fundraising rounds, and successfully guided privately held companies through high-value exits.

Aaron has served on advisory boards for The American Lawyer and Law360, is currently the editor-in-chief of the sports law section in Matthew Bender’s quarterly treatise, Entertainment Industry Contracts, and has been quoted in national publications such as USA Today, The Financial Times, Law360, and VentureBeat.

Beyond his legal practice, Aaron is passionate about rescue dogs, enjoys returning to his hometown of Washington, D.C. to spend time with family, and has a deep appreciation for chess, international travel, and literature. He avidly reads British espionage and dystopian novels, with favorite authors including Graham Greene, Cormac McCarthy, and John le Carré.
